Description Imports of goods and services (current US$) measures the monetary value of goods and services acquired by residents of an economy from non-residents. According to the World Bank, imports of goods include changes in the economic ownership of goods from non-residents to residents, regardless of whether the goods physically cross national borders. Consequently, changes in its value may reflect variations in import volumes, prices, and exchange rates.
